Bath State Bank cut-off for daily processing will be changing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. beginning May 2nd. Transactions that occur between 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Fridays will remain on the next business day (Monday with the exception of holidays) as well as Saturday transactions.

According to the FBI, in 2014 consumers lost more than $8 million to solicitation scams promising instant wealth and grand prize earnings. These scams, commonly referred to as the “advance fee,” “lottery” or “sweepstake” scam, involve fraudsters issuing counterfeit checks and fake award letters to consumers who have allegedly won a lottery or sweepstake raffle.

We have experienced an increased amount of debit card fraud coming from the state of New York.  As a result, we have blocked all card present/signature transactions originating from New York.  PIN, online and telephone activity is still allowed.  If you have any questions or plan to travel to New York, please call our Data Processing Department at 765-732-3022.
