Video Contest for Youth - DEADLINE DEC. 1

Do you know a student who is interested in creating a savings video to possibly win some cash? Bath State Bank has an exciting opportunity for junior high and high school students! The Lights, Camera, Save! video contest, sponsored by Bath State Bank and the American Bankers Association, aims to make saving and using money wisely relevant to all students.

This national competition provides participants with the opportunity to win up to $5,000 to fund their personal savings goal. On the local level, Bath State Bank will have a $100 first-place award, as well as a $50 second-place honor.

In 2013, a local Franklin County High School student won $2,500 and placed 2nd in the Nation with his video, "It's Easier Than You Think." In 2011, a Union County High School student's video, "How To Save Money," was selected in the Nation's Top-10 final round. Both were selected as the top videos from the state of Indiana.

A national contest award would be an excellent achievement for a college or employment application.
