ATTENTION: We are seeing an increase in debit card fraud. As a result, we have turned off the ability to perform a debit card transaction using it like a “credit card” in the states of Florida, Georgia, Texas and New York. Additional states may be added if needed.

Bath State Bank was honored with Indiana Bankers Assn.’s Five Star Member Award on May 4th in downtown Indianapolis.
Bath State Bank collected 13,850 pounds of paper shred for Earth Day last month! In comparison during our 2012 shred day, we had 4,340 pounds. Some three dozen batteries were recycled for the Union County Band Booster Fund Raiser.
Bath State Bank cut-off for daily processing will be changing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. beginning May 2nd. Transactions that occur between 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Fridays will remain on the next business day (Monday with the exception of holidays) as well as Saturday transactions.
According to the FBI, in 2014 consumers lost more than $8 million to solicitation scams promising instant wealth and grand prize earnings. These scams, commonly referred to as the “advance fee,” “lottery” or “sweepstake” scam, involve fraudsters issuing counterfeit checks and fake award letters to consumers who have allegedly won a lottery or sweepstake raffle.
