CD's

The minimum balance required to open a Bath State Bank Certificate of Deposit (CD) with our posted rates is $500. Bath State Bank offers competitive rates on our CD. CDs are available for maturity periods of 3, 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 48, 60 or 72 months.

Interest may be drawn out monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual or at maturity. (See our Rate board for current rates of CDs from $500 to $99,999.99.)

Also available is an IRA CD with a variable rate. This type of IRA CD is written for a term of 18 months. The interest rate may be adjusted on the 1st day of the following months: February, May, August and November.

Upon maturity, your account will automatically be renewed for the same term at the interest rate that is in effect on the maturity date. You will be granted a grace period of 10 calendar days after maturity to redeem or make changes to your account. A penalty may apply for early withdrawal of all certificates of deposit.
